Sara Bruce Weirich grew up in Columbus, Georgia where she graduated from Brookstone School. Sara went on to attend the University of Georgia graduating with degrees in International Affairs and Spanish. Following graduation, Sara spent a year teaching in Madrid, Spain.
Sara attended Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. While at Tulane, Sara served as a managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and was subsequently published in the Journal. Sara gained experience as a student practitioner in Tulane’s law clinic and represented clients in both civil and criminal matters. Sara also held an externship with the Honorable Chief Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown in the Eastern District Court of Louisiana and with the United Nations International Maritime Organization in London, England.
After practicing law for five years in Louisiana, Sara has returned home to serve her hometown community.
